One of the easiest ways to make your home feel a little fresher for the warmer months is to update your colour palette, and our team has put together some colourful inspiration to motivate you to take the plunge and give your space a whole new look!

Natural Blues

If you want your space to feel like a breath of fresh air, there’s no better colour palette than breezy blues. Depending on your personal aesthetic, you can pair your blues with neutral beige tones for an airy seaside look or add pops of green and yellow for a true spring garden-inspired home.

Natural textures like waffle or linens and floral prints add to the “bringing the outside in” appeal. Or try simple stripes for a classic beachside look.

Olives & Yellows

If you like a “warmer” toned base, you can’t go wrong with olive tones and honeyed yellows. Perfectly reflective of an Australian landscape, this combo evokes native plants, wattle and gum and looks amazing against natural textures like woodgrain or terracotta.

Simple textures and stripes elevate the look, giving a warm sophistication that’s hard to beat.

Pinks & Yellows

Pink and yellow is a classic combo that screams springtime. To keep it looking more luxe and less kids' room, lean into natural washed shades and textures and add a stripe or simple floral to give depth and interest.

Pinks and yellows happily lend themselves to any base – whether you prefer clean whites or earthy neutrals.

Olive & Earth

You can absolutely not go wrong with green tones for spring/summer, but for a more paired back look (you know the one, your favourite influencer is probably nailing it as we speak), match your olives with earthy browns, beiges and slate greys.

This colour combo gives off a more masculine vibe, but is also the perfect base to display all the foliage and flowers your garden has to offer at this time of year!

Minimalist Greys

Washed-back indigos in vintage textures can be a beautiful way to say hello to summertime if you’re one of the many who prefer darker tones in your home décor (we don’t blame you, dark colours can hide so much more than those lighter, more traditional “summer” tones).

Just make sure to keep your textures light and breezy (washed vintage cotton or linen blends are going to be your besties here) and pair with lighter tones like beige or neutral greys, and indigo can take you from winter to spring before you can say “hay fever season”.
